Satyrus Marinus

Hello! This is my enemy creature for a dungeon crawler game. The Satyrus Marinus is an old mythical creature part man, part goat, part fish. I developed this creature from the original medieval drawings, but used realistic anatomy and references from the three different animal parts to create a more realistic interpretation. Currently awaiting the in-game renders.

Pipeline Steps:
- Sculpted in Zbrush
- Retopology and UVs in Maya
- Scale procedural material in Substance Designer
- Baked and textured in Substance Painter
- Materials in Arnold with 2x4k texture sets
- Rigged in Maya with IK/FK arms, space switching, tweak controls, IK synamic spline/FK tail
- Personal renders in Arnold, passed onto to the team for game integration in UE5
